Tales of Middle-Earth (ToME) is an open-source, single-player, role-playing roguelike game set in the world of J.R.R Tolkien.

Over one hundred and twenty two years have passed since the fall of Sauron and the destruction of the Ring of Power. Middle-earth has known relative peace since then, the dominion of Men extending far and wide under the rule of the High King of the Reunited Kingdom Aragorn II Elessar. His son Eldarion succeeded him and now rules many parts of Middle-earth.

You are an adventurer, looking for old powers, treasure and glory. You boldly go in lost and forgotten places, untamed forests and sealed ruins.
